Not less than 4 folks have been killed and one other was injured in a highway accident on the Naogaon-Rajshahi regional freeway within the space adjoining to Chakgouri Hat Bazar space beneath Mahdevpur upazila of Naogaon on Monday afternoon.
The identities of the deceased couldn’t be identified instantly.
The accident occurred when a truck collided head-on with one other CNG-run auto rickshaw coming from the wrong way round 1:15pm, leaving three passengers and driver of the auto rickshaw lifeless on the spot and one other injured, stated Md Jahidul Islam, Naogaon Hearth Service and Civil Protection station officer.
The injured was admitted to native hospital, he added.
