83 parakeets, munias rescued in Chattogram

The Wildlife Administration and Nature Conservation Division has rescued eighty-three parakeets and munias in Reazuddin Bazar of Chattogram.

Of the birds, 53 are parakeets and 30 are munias, mentioned Chattogram’s Wildlife Administration and Nature Conservation Division Wildlife Ranger Muhammad Ismail Hossain.

The caged birds have been rescued whereas raiding the go-down of a four-storied constructing close to the Reazuddin Bazar Nupur market hen lane on Tuesday (7 June), the official mentioned. 

On data from the Wildlife Crime Management Unit Dhaka, the operation was performed with the cooperation of the Kotwali police station. 

The rescued birds might be launched in an appropriate setting as per the directions of the divisional forest officer.
