MOGADISHU (Somaliguardian) – The United Nations Safety Council on Wednesday known as for the withdrawal of Somaliland troops battling SSC forces in and across the city of Lasanod in northern Somalia’s Sool area.
“The members of the Safety Council known as for the fast withdrawal of “Somaliland” safety forces and known as on all events to train restraint and to chorus from provocative actions, incitement to violence and inflammatory rhetoric as a way to deescalate the scenario on the bottom, rebuild belief and to create the situations for peace,” the council stated in an announcement.
“The members of the Safety Council reaffirmed their full respect for the sovereignty, territorial integrity, political independence and unity of Somalia.”
