CINCINNATI — Three Cincinnati Metro drivers have been assaulted over the weekend, based on a spokesperson with Metro.
The assaults occurred in two separate incidents, each on Saturday evening. All three Metro operators have been taken to a close-by hospital for therapy.
Suspects are in police custody, based on Metro. The transportation company is working with the Cincinnati Police Division because the incidents are investigated.
On Saturday, police stated the primary assault occurred simply after 7:30 p.m. close to Washington Park, on Metro route 21. A second incident occurred on route 24, ensuing within the arrest of an individual on the scene. Police stated in that case, passengers attacked the motive force.
The extent of the accidents the three operators sustained haven’t been launched by authorities. Police additionally didn’t say how many individuals have been arrested in reference to the assaults.
