MOGADISHU (Somaliguardian) – US embassy in Somalia mentioned on Friday Washington will set up new navy bases for Danab Somali particular forces amid an ongoing struggle towards Islamist militants.
In a tweet, US embassy mentioned a gathering with Somali officers centered on “strengthening US assist for Somalia’s safety by establishing new navy bases for SNA Danab.”
“Grateful to be working with Somalia in enhancing regional stability,” it added.
