Mogadishu, Somalia – The Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mr. Hamsa Abdi Barre, has urged Somali students to steer the battle in opposition to the Khawarij teams which might be threatening the faith and existence of the Somali individuals.
Talking on the second anniversary of the martyrdom of Sheikh Abdulqadir Jeylaani, a distinguished Islamic scholar who labored exhausting to unfold and defend Islam, the Prime Minister praised the necessary position that Sheikh performed in educating and defending Islam.
He stated that Sheikh Jeylaani was an instance of a real scholar who sacrificed his life for the sake of Allah and his individuals.
“When the nation was at risk, those that took up arms have been Somali students who led the individuals in defending their nation, immediately our individuals and our faith are attacked by Khawarij and students should take their position in main the battle in opposition to Khawarij,” he stated.
He added that the federal government is dedicated to supporting the spiritual establishments and students of their efforts to counter the extremist ideology and violence of the Khawarij teams.
The occasion was attended by the Deputy Speaker of the Home of the Individuals and members of the 2 chambers of presidency, spiritual students and varied segments of society.
