3 French bulldogs stolen at gunpoint in DC

Police in Washington, D.C. are attempting to trace down a gunman and three French bulldogs that he stole from an individual who was out for a stroll.

The incident occurred Tuesday afternoon because the sufferer was strolling their canine on East Capitol Road. 

“The suspect approached the sufferer, brandished firearms, and robbed the sufferer of his canine,” Metropolitan Police Division mentioned in a press release. 

The French bulldogs go by “Chewy,” “Coco,” and “Buttercup.” Whereas the canine could look small, police mentioned they vary in weight from 18 kilos to 30 kilos. 

There’s a $10,000 reward for anybody who can present info that results in the arrest of the suspect.

The incident in D.C. is harking back to a theft involving Girl Gaga’s French bulldogs. Her canine walker was shot and robbed of the pop star’s canine in 2021. 

5 males had been later arrested in connection to the theft. Prosecutors mentioned the suspects had been driving round searching for costly canine to steal. The person who shot the canine walker pleaded no contest within the case and was sentenced to 21 years in jail.
