MOGADISHU (Somaliguardian) – Somalia’s opposition MPs on Monday rejected plans by President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud to overtake the structure and introduced a brand new alliance, Caasimada On-line information web site reported.
Talking on behalf of the MPs who shaped the alliance, Khalif Abdi Omar informed a press convention within the capital Mogadishu that they won’t endorse makes an attempt to make controversial modifications to the structure, in what opposition says is geared toward returning the nation to a dictatorial period.
“This alliance expresses concern concerning the phrases of the settlement signed by the Nationwide Consultative Council which was not inclusive. A number of the phrases have been opposite to the structure and broad-based agreements between Somalis,” the MP stated.
