MOGADISHU (Somaliguardian) – Puntland Vice President Ahmed Elmi Osman has accused the chief of the northeastern Somali semi-autonomous area Saeed Abdullahi Deni of being a dictator amid escalating tensions, Caasimada On-line information web site reported on Monday.
“The President has accustomed to dictatorship and the train of a one-man rule whereas ignoring suggestions from intellectuals,” Osman mentioned.
It comes days after President Deni introduced that the area is not going to maintain a common suffrage and would as an alternative go forward with conventional vote that enables MPs chosen by clan elders to decide on a regional chief.
