MOGADISHU (Somaliguardian) – Somalia’s President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud on Tuesday held cellphone talks with Egyptian counterpart Abdel Fattah el-Sisi amid escalating tensions with Ethiopia over a sea entry cope with Somaliland, his workplace stated.
Mohamud “spoke with President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi of Egypt, congratulating him on his re-election,” Villa Somalia tweeted.
“They reaffirmed their dedication to enhancing bilateral relations, emphasizing the significance of uniting efforts to deal with shared challenges within the area.”
