Cairo, (SONNA) – The President of the Federal Authorities of Somalia, H.E Hassan Sheikh Mohamud who visited Al-Azhar Al-Sharif College in Cairo met with Sheikh Ahmed Mohamed El-Tayeb who’s the Imam of Al-Azhar and mentioned the significance of combating extremist ideology towards the Al-Shabaab terrorists, and the 1000’s of Somalis who research on the Al-Azhar College.
The President who talked concerning the significance of non secular establishments and facilities for extremist ideology invited Sheikh Ahmed to come back go to Somalia and see the event and fruition of the federal government of Somalia.
On his half, Sheikh Ahmed Mohamed El-Tayeb who thanked the President for the invitation accepted to go to and strongly condemned the Ethiopian authorities’s intervention within the independence and unity of the Federal Republic of Somalia, noting that it must be defended collectively towards anybody who abuses it.
