MOGADISHU, Somalia – President Hassan Sheikh has on behalf of the federal government and folks of Somalia, prolonged deep condolences to the federal government and folks of Namibia over the passing of President Hage Geingob.
The Namibian head of state handed away on February 4 on the age of 82.
In January, the presidential workplace reported that he was recognized with most cancers.
Villa Somalia, the presidential palace issued a press release, by which the president stated:
“I categorical my honest condolences to the individuals and authorities of Namibia on the passing of H.E. Dr. Hage G. Geingob, the President of the Republic of Namibia”
Dr. Hage G. Geingob was a distinguished chief who devoted his life to the service of his individuals and was a revered voice on the African continent.
“Throughout this tough time, we stand in solidarity along with his household and the Namibian individuals as they mourn the lack of a fantastic chief,” he added.
Geingob has served as president since 2015 and was in his second time period, earlier than his demise.
