MOGADISHU (Somaliguardian) – No less than 15 individuals have been killed and dozens of others wounded after blasts hit retailers at Bakaro, a well-liked open-air market in Somalia’s capital Mogadishu on Tuesday.
The explosions have come months after authorities deployed 1000’s of navy police and plain-clothed intelligence officers to ramp up safety within the metropolis and stop assaults by insurgents.
Nobody has but claimed duty for the lethal the assaults, however the deputy mayor of Mogadishu blamed rebel teams preventing to topple the Western-backed Somali authorities.
