A high-level delegation from the Somali authorities visited Sabun Dam on the outskirts of Jowhar Metropolis on Friday, to examine the situation of the dam and to debate the plans for flood prevention and mitigation.
The delegation was led by the Chairman of the Nationwide Catastrophe Administration Authority (SoDMA) Mr. Mohamud Maallim Abdulle, and included the Minister of Inside Hirshabelle Abdirahman Dahir Gure, the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Aid, the Governor of Center Shabelle Ahmed Mayre Makraan, and different officers.
