Addis Ababa (PP Information Desk) — The Ethiopian military veterans yesterday gathered at the Ethiopia-Cuba Friendship memorial park in Addis Ababa to have a good time the 1978 Karamara battle during which Cuban forces with navy help from the Soviet Union pressured the Somali military to retreat from territories referred to as Soomaali Galbeed ( western Somali). The President of the secessionist administration of Somaliland was a Somali Air Pressure pilot who defected to affix Somali Nationwide Motion rebels.

The Oromo-dominated Ethiopian Defence Forces perpetrate massacres within the Amhara area in what an Oromumaa ideologue types as “a depopulation technique in opposition to Amhara folks”.
Upon signing the farcical maritime MoU Bihi claimed that Ethiopia would recognise Somaliland in return for a 50-year coastal lease to the Ethiopian authorities to arrange a naval base in violation of the worldwide norms.
