A Texas mom was arrested after allegedly mixing a drink that despatched her son’s classmate to a hospital.
Jennifer Lynn Rossi is charged with damage to a baby inflicting bodily damage, based on the Bexar County Sheriff’s Workplace. The 45-year-old was arrested Tuesday following the incident at Legacy Conventional Faculty — Alamo Ranch in Texas.
Authorities stated Rossi gave her son a sports activities drink bottle that contained a combination of lemon, salt and vinegar. She concocted the drink “to allegedly stop her son’s drink from being stolen in school by different college students,” the sheriff’s workplace stated.
The “unhazardous” drink was then given to her son’s classmate throughout P.E. class, and shortly after consuming the combination, the kid “started experiencing nausea and a headache,” based on authorities.
The kid was taken to a hospital, the place “employees knowledgeable the investigator that the kid sufferer required further medical monitoring and would ultimately be discharged from the hospital.”
