MOGADISHU (Somaliguardian) – Al-Qaeda-aligned militant group Al-Shabaab attacked military base on the outskirts of the port metropolis of Kismayo in south Somalia, media affiliated with the insurgents reported on Thursday.
Insurgents claimed overrunning a army camp in Barsanguni outdoors Kismayo, which is the seat of energy of Jubaland regional administration. Al-Shabaab additionally mentioned its fighters killed a lot of troopers and seized weapons. The assertion couldn’t be indecently verified.
Jubaland authorities and the Somali military haven’t but given any feedback concerning the assault.
