CINCINNATI — The Cincinnati Fireplace Division is investigating after a Sunday evening hearth in an Avondale house constructing was deemed “suspicious,” based on a report from the division.
Firefighters had been known as to the four-story house advanced at round 10:55 p.m. Sunday evening. Once they arrived, hearth might be seen on the fourth ground of the constructing and smoke alarms inside had been sounding, the report says.
Nobody was damage by the hearth and firefighters had been capable of extinguish it, although two households had been displaced on account of the harm.
“The hearth is suspicious in nature and underneath investigation by the CFD Fireplace Investigative Unit,” reads the report, which lists solely “incendiary” as a trigger for the hearth.
The constructing suffered roughly $50,000 in harm, CFD estimated within the report.
