MOGADISHU, Somalia — President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud of the Federal Republic of Somalia welcomed a delegation from the East African Neighborhood (EAC) Parliament, led by Speaker Joseph Ntakirutimana, at Villa Somalia on Thursday.
The go to aimed to foster stronger ties between Somalia and the EAC Parliament, specializing in mutual understanding and cooperation to realize shared regional goals.
Speaker Ntakirutimana expressed appreciation for the nice and cozy reception and recommended the Somali authorities and folks for his or her resilience and accomplishments. He emphasised the importance of Somalia’s participation within the EAC Parliament and the benefits of a strong partnership.
President Mohamud reaffirmed Somalia’s dedication to enhancing collaboration with EAC member states, emphasizing that such cooperation is essential for regional financial improvement, peace, safety, and stability.
