Mogadishu:- Members of the Somali Federal Parliament on Monday mentioned a movement on the brand new tax, worth added taxes (VAT)on retailers through which the Ministry of Finance launched that took impact yesterday.
The Minister of Finance, Bihi Iman Egeh defined the levels that the tax has handed via, saying it’s was first launched in 1984. he recounted the progress made within the monetary reform, challenges and alternatives.
The Members welcomed how the Authorities dealt with the considerations of Tuk-tuk drivers who protested in opposition to excessive taxes, fines and different funds in acquiring licenses and challenges at Mogadishu seaport yesterday.
