Mogadishu(SONNA):- The Nationwide Communications Authority (NCA) of Somalia, in collaboration with the Worldwide Telecommunication Union (ITU) and the GSMA, has formally launched the Nationwide Multi-Stakeholder Assembly on the Implementation of the Nationwide Emergency Telecommunications Plan (NETP).
The assembly, inaugurated by the Minister of Communications, H.E. Maxamed Adam, was attended by officers from the Nationwide Communications Authority, Somali Catastrophe Administration Company, Minister of Water and Power Assets, representatives Cell Community Operators (MNOs) in Somalia, and delegates from worldwide organizations, together with ITU, GSMA, UNICEF, IFRC, UNDP, and the World Financial institution.
