MOGADISHU (Somaliguardian) – Somaliland President Muse Bihi Abdi on Wednesday conceded defeat within the break-away area’s presidential race, extending congratulations to the victor, opposition chief Abdirahman Abdullahi Irro and committing to a seamless handover of energy.
“Congratulations to President-elect Abdirahman Mohamed Abdullahi (@Abdirahmanirro) in your victory,” the outgoing Somaliland president mentioned in an announcement on X.
“I pledge my full help for a clean transition of energy. Could your tenure convey peace, progress, and enduring success to our beloved nation.”
