MOGADISHU (Somaliguardian) – Somalia’s Deputy Prime Minister, Salah Ahmed Jama, on Thursday dismissed a movement being ready by some members of parliament to oust the federal government of Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre, whereas vehemently denying allegations of public land grabbing by authorities. 

Talking to reporters within the capital, Mogadishu, Jama downplayed the importance of the parliamentary movement, emphasizing that the federal government’s focus stays on addressing urgent nationwide challenges. 

“We’ve got no concern over the movement, however we’re involved about how we are going to fight the Kharijites [Al-Shabaab], strengthen safety, sort out local weather change, save lives and livestock from droughts, and lift public consciousness,” Jama said.
