Ankara, (SONNA) – Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan honored the Somali authorities for its help in addressing the challenges that rose from the earthquake that occurred on February 6, 2023.
Throughout a ceremony marking the second anniversary of the earthquake held in Adiyaman Province, President Erdogan expressed gratitude to the Somali authorities, emphasizing their unwavering solidarity with the Republic of Türkiye.
He prolonged greetings to the President of Somalia and the Somali individuals.
The Somali Consul in Turkey, Abdirahim Mohamud, obtained a Reminiscence Award from President Erdogan, thanking him for Türkiye’s help and collaboration in tackling the aftermath of local weather change-related disasters.
