Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Home of the Individuals of the Federal Parliament of Somalia held its sixth session, chaired by the Speaker, H.E Sheikh Adan Mohamed Noor (Madobe), alongside Second Deputy Speaker Abdullahi Omar Abshirow.
Initially of the session, Sergeant-at-Arms Mohamed Abdullahi Hassan (Nuux) administered the oath of workplace to MP Mohamed Abdi Hassan (Afweyne) as a brand new member of parliament.
Following this, Minister of Justice and Constitutional Affairs Hassan Moallim Mohamud introduced the Somalia-Türkiye worldwide judicial cooperation settlement, highlighting its significance for Somalia’s justice system and its potential impression on judicial reforms.

Moreover, Minister of Finance Bihi Iman Igeh delivered the second studying of two key legislative proposals:
1. Amendments to the Anti-Cash Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Regulation
2. The Earnings Tax Invoice
MPs engaged in a debate on each payments, assessing their nationwide significance and elevating considerations about potential contentious provisions. The Speaker directed the Finance Committee to include MPs’ suggestions into the third studying report earlier than presenting the payments again to Parliament for additional deliberation.
