Cyber Jaya, Malaysia – SONNA — The Federal Authorities of Somalia, represented by the Nationwide Communications Authority (NCA), has signed two separate Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) with Malaysian establishments to strengthen digital regulation and cybersecurity cooperation.
The primary MOU, signed with the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Fee (MCMC), outlines collaboration in areas akin to 5G technical frameworks, regulatory trade, and institutional capability constructing.
The second settlement with CyberSecurity Malaysia goals to reinforce Somalia’s cyber resilience. It consists of cooperation on cyber incident response, risk intelligence sharing, capability constructing, and cyber diplomacy.
