Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Minister of Defence of the Federal Authorities of Somalia, H.E. Ahmed Moallim Fiqi, attended a luncheon hosted by Turkish Ambassador H.E. Alper Aktaş in honour of the crew of the Oruç Reis, the oil exploration vessel that efficiently concluded its 234-day exploration mission off Somalia’s coast.
The Ministry sees this achievement as a logo of the deep strategic partnership between Somalia and Türkiye, and a testomony to the rising capability of our safety establishments.
“This isn’t simply an financial milestone, it’s a declaration of sovereignty and nationwide power,” stated Minister Fiqi.
