Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Gor-Gor Commando forces, in coordination with the 14 October Brigade and the Nationwide Intelligence and Safety Company (NISA), took management of the Marka space within the Decrease Shabelle area following a deliberate operation carried out by the forces.
Al-Shabaab militants, who had been hiding within the space, fled after studying that authorities forces had been approaching.
The Jilib Marka space is now calm, with allied items of the Somali Nationwide Military at the moment deployed there.
Native residents, who had been subjected to extortion and intimidation by Al-Shabaab militants, warmly welcomed the arrival of the nationwide forces and expressed their gratitude for being free of the group’s abuses.
