Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Everlasting Secretary of the Ministry of Defence, Mr Yusuf Ali Mohamed, chaired a gathering centered on strengthening the safety of Somali kids and stopping their recruitment and use in armed battle.
The assembly aimed to speed up the implementation of the Vancouver Rules, a world framework designed to reinforce measures for stopping the recruitment and exploitation of kids throughout armed conflicts. Discussions centered on strengthening cooperation between authorities establishments and worldwide companions, significantly Save the Kids, to advance insurance policies and programmes aimed toward safeguarding the rights and welfare of Somali kids.
The assembly was attended by members of the Kids and Armed Battle (CAAC) Working Group, together with representatives from the Ministry of Inner Safety, the Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Affairs, the Ministry of Schooling, Tradition and Larger Schooling, and the Ministry of Youth and Sports activities.
